Garden Vegetable

A family classic! Our Rice-A-Roni® Garden Vegetable flavor blends rice and vermicelli with garden vegetables including peas, red bell pepper and carrots in a rich and creamy sauce that your whole family will love! This delicious side dish is the perfect complement to your favorite chicken, pork or beef recipes.

What You'll Need

  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1/4 cups of milk
  • 1 tablespoons of margarine*

What You'll Do:

  • In a large skillet, combine rice-vermicelli mix and margarine or butter. Sauté over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.
  • Slowly stir in water, milk and Special Seasonings; bring to a boil.
  • Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.

High Altitude Directions:

Increase water to 2 cups.


*butter, or spread with no trans fat may be substituted
