Rice-A-Roni Nature's Way Long Grain & Wild Rice (4.2 oz)

Ingredients

package RICE-A-RONI® Nature's Way ™ Long Grain & Wild Rice
pound uncooked, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
tablespoon olive oil
cup water
cup fresh mushroom slices (optional)
1/2  cup chopped onion (optional)

Preparation Steps

1.  In medium saucepan, combine rice, 1 cup water, 1 Tbsp. olive oil, Special Seasonings and 1 lb. uncooked, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces; bring to a boil.
2.  Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 22-28 min. or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
3.  Let stand 5 min. before serving.

Cook Tips and Variations

Add 1 cup fresh mushroom slices and 1/2 cup chopped onion during last 5 min. of simmering.
