Garden Vegetable Chicken

Rice-A-Roni Garden Vegetable (5.8 oz)

Ingredients

package RICE-A-RONI® Garden Vegetable
pound uncooked, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
tablespoon margarine
cup water
1/4  cup milk
1/2  cup thinly sliced green onions (optional)

Preparation Steps

1.  In large skillet, sauté rice-vermicelli mix with 1 Tbsp. margarine over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.
2.  Slowly stir in 1 cup water, 1/4 cup milk, Special Seasonings and 1 lb. uncooked, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces; bring to a boil.
3.  Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 15-20 min. or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Let stand 5 min. before serving.

Cook Tips and Variations

Stir in 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions before stand time.
